The AI Athletics Company

The AiAthletics Company is centered on building advanced AI Agents designed to maximize revenue streams while reducing redundancy and unnecessary expenses across athletic departments. By automating repetitive tasks and streamlining operational workflows, we create efficiencies that free up valuable time and resources. The ultimate goal is to redeploy human resources toward high-impact projects and initiatives that strengthen relationships and foster deeper engagement with student-athletes, the university community, donors, and corporate partners. Through this balance of innovation and human connection, we empower athletic programs to achieve sustainable growth and long-term success.

CHALLENGE

Eliminating Tradeoffs and Manual Content Assembly

Athletic communications teams juggle overlapping events (e.g., football and volleyball tournaments on the same day), fragmented data sources, and platform‑specific content needs. The manual path—from box score to story, quotes, links, and social—often pushes recaps hours after the final whistle and forces tradeoffs on which programs get covered. Travel adds cost pressure, while smaller sports frequently get minimal or delayed attention.

While teams deliver excellent work, the volume and time-sensitive windows limit scale and capacity. Leadership saw an opportunity to treat AI not as a tool but as a workforce multiplier—embedding an AI SID that can publish within minutes, standardize calls‑to‑action (“purchase tickets,” “donate the score”), and reduce the need to staff every away contest—all without disrupting existing SID workflows.

SOLUTION

An AI SID that lives where athletics works—and publishes in minutes.

Qurrent partnered with AiAthletics to design and deploy an AI Sports Information Director (AI SID) Workforce tailored to the Post-Game Recaps embedded directly in Microsoft Teams – an area with high repetition and breadth of tasks, coupled with time-sensitive delivery.

Within weeks, Qurrent’s autonomous AI agents were managing and publishing nearly all routine post-game outputs—ingesting and validating live stats and multimedia from multiple sources, generating full game coverage and preview articles in AP style, and creating platform-specific social posts with dynamic calls-to-action for tickets, donations, and sponsors. The system also formatted and routed content for human review or autonomous publishing, ensuring every piece met brand and editorial standards while dramatically accelerating turnaround time.

The AI workforce operates within AiAthletics’ connected systems via secure API and media integrations, ensuring contextual awareness and real-time traceability. Human intervention occurs only when needed — for example, to refine tone, verify quotes, etc.

To maintain transparency and governance, Qurrent’s proprietary Supervisor provides full visibility into every AI SID activity and publish, enabling continuous learning loops and editorial oversight — ensuring every story, tweet, and CTA aligns with brand standards and athletic department values.

RESULTS

AI Workforces as the Operating Layer for Sports Communications.

7× faster to publish. A compressed recap turnaround from ~3 hours to as fast as 8 minutes
Proven at volume. 100% contests across four D1 sports handled in the opening six weeks.
Monetization‑ready by default. Articles and social variants shipped with a bank of calls‑to‑action and sponsor placements, ready for neutral or school‑branded voice.

What began as a focused efficiency pilot—turning three-hour post-game workloads into publish-ready AP-style recaps in minutes—has become a program-level initiative to embed an AI SID across sports and associations nationwide.

The result: faster coverage cycles, lower overhead, and new revenue pathways—positioning AiAthletics as the modern operating model for SID teams at scale, with advancements across national athletic conferences & associations, D1, D2, D3, and Junior Colleges.

AiAthletics represents a future-forward model for collegiate athletics — where AI workforces are redefining how sports programs communicate, scale, and engage their fans.
